New Stereoscopic Analysis Tools – ERDAS Webinar

Stereoscopic visualization expands the possibilities of image interpretation and improves its precision, resulting in high-accuracy data. The online seminar New Year, New Tools – Turn up Your Stereo (Feature Collection), which will take place on January 6, 2009 at 7 p.m., will include interactive demonstrations presenting the capabilities of the new set of tools for the ArcGIS 9.3 platform. They accelerate the vectorization of 3D objects and increase its precision. FeatureAssist for ArcGIS includes a library that allows you to acquire roof models of varying degrees of complexity using the ESRI Multipatch format. The format also enables texturing of models for use in photorealistic visualizations. ERDAS Terrain Editor for ArcGIS is used to edit databases of elevation points and breaklines used in the production of digital terrain models. These new tools are extensions to Stereo Analyst™ for ArcGIS. ERDAS webinars are organized several times a month. In addition to live software demonstrations, each seminar also offers the opportunity to directly contact the presenters. To attend the New Year, New Tools – Turn up Your Stereo (Feature Collection) seminar, register on the ERDAS, Inc. website.
