Tethered aerostat as an imaging and monitoring tool

In cooperation with the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and ADAPTRONICA Sp. z o. o. We are starting to implement the NCBiR research project, TANGO 4, titled Adaptive aerostats, mounted on an SDT (Self Deployable Tensegrity) support structure, as a platform for multi-topic monitoring of the Earth’s surface (Aero-SDT). As a result of the project, a comprehensive multispectral remote sensing imaging system will be developed using an ultra-light tethered aerostat. It is intended mainly for agricultural applications, but we are also considering other areas of application, such as daytime or night FLIR video monitoring.

The project implementation deadline is June 2023.
